Teacher's Day was celebrated with zeal and zest on September
There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious.The students of classes 9th grade to 12th grade took over the duties of the teacher's day. A special assembly was held by the students, followed by prayer and tribute to the great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
There was a special cultural programme organised by the students, which included dance, skit, Mad Ads and SS dance
The celebration also had a few games conducted for teachers by the PTA members.
The Principal, Rev Fr Rohan D'Almeida addressed the entire school, urged students to maintain the bequest of respecting teachers and lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school's phenomenal success.
The Principal appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. As a token of appreciation certificates were given to teachers
There after a common celebration was held in the SJIPS auditorium. The most awaited was the entertainment organised by Swahaa an Indian based percussion band hailing from the city of Bangalore.
Ms Sangeetha Ravindranath rocked the show by her miswiring songs A grand lunch was a part of the celebration. Thus, the entire celebration paved a new hope for teachers to rejoice the journey as a teacher.
