A special assembly was held on 5th July 2024 on the theme 'Voice of the Voiceless' in honor of Fr. Stan Swamy SJ, who was an Indian Jesuit priest and social activist known for his work with marginalized communities, particularly the indigenous Adivasi people in Jharkhand. He dedicated his life to advocating for the rights of the poor and oppressed. The chief guest for the Day was Fr Francis Balaraj SJ who is a Jesuit Priest from Karnataka Jesuit Province. He has served the marginalized communities Dalits, Tribals, Minorities, and Backward Communities in Mundgod and Vijayapura, Currently, he serves as Head of the Social Inclusion and Democracy Unit at Indian Social Institute, Bengaluru. He motivated the students to lead a life like Fr Stan Swamy. The significance of the day was presented in the form of a skit by the students of class 11 B which presented his life story and his mission of serving the marginalized. Class 11 school choir dedicated the song 'Sing a song for the peace of the people' to Fr Stan Swamy. The Principal Rev. Fr Rohan D'Almeida encouraged the students to stand for justice and promote peace. Ishaan a student of Class 11 B is inspired to help others and stand for justice. Pavitra of class 11 A believes that her takeaway is to lead a life like Fr Stan Swamy.
