The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and ISTM (Institute of Secretariat Training and Management) successfully conducted Training for Trainers (TOT) Program on 20th and 21st September, 2024, at St Joseph's School, Bengaluru. The distinguished guest speakers were Mr Vipin Kumar Bhargava (Deputy Director ISTM, DoPT, Govt of India), Mr P Ramesh, Regional Officer CBSE Bengaluru, Mr Sandeep Kumar Jain (HEAD, COE, Bengaluru), Mr Sajeev S (Prof at Institute of Management in Govt, Trivandrum), Mr Bharath Gopalan (Prof and Program Chair, PGDM GIBS Business School, Bengaluru), Ms Deepa Dogra (Director/Principal Cambridge Innovative School, Jalandhar) and Rev Fr Rohan D'Almeida SJ (Principal, SJS CBSE, Venue Director)
The training program aligned with the National Educational Policy (NEP) - 2020, made it mandatory for 50 hours per year of Continuous Professional Development Programme for all teachers and head teachers in the schools enabling them to learn new methodologies, strategies and skills which leads them to become empowered resource persons.
The course was offered to the trainers to navigate the complexities of the modern educational landscape, which will equip the trainers with necessary skills and knowledge that promotes a more engaging and effective learning environment for achieving academic excellence in our schools.
