Jolly Joeys Class 1 & 2 Fun Day
  • 2022
"Fun is just another word for Learning" is a saying which St Joseph's School has actively endorsed. The first ever Fun Day for Class 1 & 2 was held on 02 September 2022 under the guidance of the Principal Rev Fr Rohan D'Almeida. The Principal initiated an exclusive Fun Day especially for Class 1 & 2 as the students of these classes had missed all the Fun Days associated with the Pre-Primary Classes due to the pandemic.
The Fun Day was named as "Jolly Joeys" as thejunior Josephites or joeys would be having a jolly time. In keeping with the weather and mood of September, the theme was chosen as Rainbow day. Students came dressed in different colours of the rainbow. The Prinicpal inaugurated Jolly Joeys by cutting rainbow coloured ribbons and students cheered joyfully. The teachers had set up a creative photo corner with rainbow and floating clouds and the little Josephites took turns to get their photos clicked with their Class Teachers. There was dance, games and a colouring activity. The children were given a rainbow wall hanging as a take away, which they coloured and gave it a 3D effect by using cotton clouds. Overall Jolly Joeys was a great success with laughter and joy colouring the school more brightly than any rainbow in the sky.
