St. Joseph's School CBSE has celebrated the KITE FESTIVAL a cultural and traditional festival which marks the beginning of the auspicious period with its arrival of spring season on 16th January 2021 in the School campus under its complete guidance of our Principal Rev. Fr. Rohan D'Almeida , accordingly the whole event was conceptualized by teachers and admin staff along with the support staff in bringing out an creative colorful traditional arrangements to mark this joyous occasion. As per the current pandemic situation we had taken the precautions by having the minimal presence of the Staff members in our school premises and also made Equal arrangement in organizing a virtual platform to enlighten the students, parents and staff on the significance of this festival of 'Makara Sankranthi' Our dear Principal Rev Fr. Rohan D' Almeida was the chief guest of the day who had highlighted the importance of the festival which also carried the message of the invaluable services and dedication rendered by our Farmers in cultivation and food production to the nation. He expressed his concern for their wellbeing. Our Principal has related the festivity to the nature’s bounty and concluded with best wishes and season's greetings. During the Program we had also played the collated video clippings of the students who had shared the recorded Video clips of the activities been conducted at their Houses relating to the Festival, which cherished our customs, traditions and rich heritage of our beloved country India in inviting every community to live in equality and integration.
