On August 2, 2025, St Joseph's School celebrated the 50th birthday of its beloved Principal, Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ - a milestone that marks a life of faith, service, and leadership. The day began with a special assembly by students who paid heartfelt tribute through cultural performances and a moving skit, reflecting Fr Melwyn's compassionate leadership and unwavering dedication to education. Fr Royston's words of appreciation and Fr Melwyn's reflective address made the morning truly memorable. In the afternoon, the staff and Jesuit community gathered for a meaningful celebration led by the Rector, Fr Joseph D'Souza. The programme included prayer, dance, and songs that honoured Fr Melwyn's inspiring journey. He expressed deep gratitude to God, his family, Jesuit companions, and the Josephite community. Fr Melwyn's golden jubilee was not just a celebration of years, but of a purposeful journey that continues to inspire all at SJS.
